Electricity generated from renewable energies is marketed in 1-hour auctions, whereby the amount of electricity expected to be available is forecast one day in advance by the transmission system operators (TSOs) at quarter-hour intervals. The amount of electricity offered per hour corresponds to the hourly average of the forecast in megawatts, rounded to one decimal place.
Here you will find legally required reviews of the monthly electricity volumes sold in 1-hour auctions for the years from 2015 onwards. They are broken down into onshore and offshore wind, solar energy, biomass and other energy sources; the monthly average marketing price can also be viewed.
