In the coming years, a strong increase in new controllable supply plants connected to the German high and extra-high voltage grid is expected. Over the next few years, elektrolysers are expected to be expanded by several hundred megawatts to ten gigawatts (the German government's target by 2030) in terms of supply capacity.
This expansion would lead to challenges for the stability of the electricity grids. Special requirements are therefore necessary for these new and large supply systems.
